Elvis At Potts Camp

In the last days of the hottest month on US 78 just before the shower and right after the little church that sits between the highway and the railroad just outside Potts Camp where the old Colonel camped on the levee in the latter part of the last century and the place kept his name, we happened on a treasure and we slowed to inspect the flapping carpet and concrete swan and turned into the gravel drive where we came face-to-face with Elvis and we jumped out and we marveled.
